Use Magenda for lawful events
This policy forms part of the Magenda terms provided by Apptimus Tech (Pvt) Ltd.. It applies to organisers, collaborators and guests, including information, invitations, photographs and messages shared through the service.
Respect people and their information
Do not use Magenda to:
- Harass, threaten, exploit or unlawfully discriminate against anyone, or publish content that promotes violence or abuse.
- Share intimate content without consent, sexual content involving minors, or content that otherwise exploits children.
- Publish private information, photographs or contact details without the necessary authority or permission.
- Send unsolicited bulk invitations, impersonate someone, run scams or misrepresent an event or payment.
- Upload material that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, or use guest information for an unrelated purpose without a lawful basis.
Respect private access and the service
Do not bypass access controls, guess or collect invitation tokens, access another person’s account, upload malware, interfere with service availability or attempt to extract private event information. Do not evade plan limits, storage limits, payment controls or a restriction placed on your account. Automated access must respect the public site’s crawl rules and must never target private event or account areas without authorisation.
Organiser responsibilities
Share invitations with their intended recipients, check collaborator permissions and review guest contributions before displaying them to a wider audience. Explain how guest information will be used, obtain permissions where required and remove content you are not entitled to share. An event screen can expose content to people beyond the private guest page; choose what you display carefully.
Report a concern
Send reports of misuse, a privacy concern, an infringement or a security issue to [email protected]. Include enough detail to locate the issue, your relationship to the affected content and any supporting information you can safely share. Do not send sign-in codes, private invitation tokens or unnecessary personal information.
For copyright or other rights concerns, identify the protected work, the content at issue and your authority to act. For a security issue, use a minimal example and avoid accessing or changing anyone else’s data.
How we respond
We may investigate a report, remove or restrict content, revoke access or suspend an account where reasonably necessary. The response depends on the severity, circumstances and applicable law. We may act promptly on urgent safety or security issues. If you believe a restriction was mistaken, contact us with the relevant details so we can review it.
